for H6 / HS6 carburettors, 1.3/4" (44 mm) diameter, screwed aluminium funnel. Can also be used for Zenith Stromberg 175CD carburettors with modifications.
Rampipes are used in motorsport and competition engines, and for good reason. The intake funnel optimises the flow of intake air in front of the carburettor. This allows the entire engine characteristics to be tuned. Due to the parallel flow, the funnel has an influence on the speed range and therefore on the performance. A short funnel ensures low torque but a high rotational speed. The longer the intake funnel, the more torque the engine can develop in the rotational lower speed. However, the maximum rotational speed is then no longer as high.
