MG: MGB (1962-80) • MGB V8 (1973-76)
for front and rear axle on "Leyland Special Tuning" springs
This conversion kit to uprated springs was already fitted to the competition cars by the Leyland Special Tuning department in the 1960s. In conjunction with modern polyurethane suspension bushes, this spring and bush combination gives your MGB more stable cornering behaviour.
The rear leaf springs included in this kit have a spring rate of 124 lbs/inch. The front coil springs have a spring rate of 480 lbs/inch and, depending on the model, are up to 30 mm lower than the original springs.
