Valve springs
Triumph: TR4 from engine no. CT21471 • TR4A (1965-67)
uprated double springs with 102 kg spring rate (148 kg at 10 mm idle stroke). These springs will allow the engine to rev to 7000 rmp. Please note: in addition you may need our competition valve collar, part no. 12871
Manufactured from superquality silicone wire, their resistance against fading and breaking is extremely high. They can be fitted directly to the head with no fear of spring crush and enable the use of higher lift cams. Recommendable for fast road and race engines. Must be fitted when using competition valves.
